The actress Millie Bobby Brown has taken the next step in her collaboration with the star brand to unveil a series of Chuck Taylors illustrated by the Thai artist Pauline Wattanodom.
Millie Bobby Brown is back with a Converse collection after launching her cosmetics brand. The Stranger Things actress has joined forces with an emerging artist to create colourful and custom “Millie By Your” kicks. It may not be her first time working with Converse as she’s designed several collections with the brand, but it is the first time she’s worked with the 20 year old Thai artist Pauline Wattanodom. The customisable range is inspired by female empowerment that the young actress campaigns for every day.
“To me, fashion is such a strong expression of who we are as girls and it does contribute greatly to our sense of identity. Empowered women empower women,” the woman said in a press release. That’s a never-ending cycle of amazing women, like Pauline.” The classic or platform Chucks come in several spring-ready colours with illustrations of two hands linked in a symbol of feminine solidarity.
The Chuck Taylor x Millie Bobby Brown x Pauline Wattanodom collab is now available on the Converse website for £85.
