Ester Manas unveils her first inclusive lingerie line.

Praised for its sensual and inclusive silhouettes, the brand Ester Manas is expanding its wardrobe with a first lingerie line. In line with its body-positive commitment, this launch reinforces a vision of lingerie free from traditional standards, designed for all body types.

Winner of the ANDAM Special Prize in 2023, the brand founded by Ester Manas and Balthazar Delepierre, continues its commitment to inclusive and responsible fashion with a first lingerie collection. This launch follows the collaboration with Chantelle X, unveiled during the Spring-Summer 2025 show titled Elephant in the Room. A manifesto collection against the invisibility of certain bodies. Already praised for its coherence and visual strength, this partnership laid the foundations for an intimate and political wardrobe that Ester Manas is now developing under her own name.

A brand that’s redefining the rules

Since its debut in 2019, Ester Manas has continually redefined the boundaries of women ready-to-wear. Presented during the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, the brand’s collections have challenged the still-dominant thin standards in the fashion industry, while being praised by that very same industry. For the duo, clothing should embrace all bodies without ever restricting them. Their secret? Stretch gathers, adjustable cuts, and technical fabrics. Plus-size models are not the exception but the norm on their runways. In the studio, the duo even works with custom-made mannequins designed to more accurately represent the diversity of body types.

Underlying it all, the brand is questioning an entire system: that of an industry still largely exclusionary, where so-called “inclusive” clothing remains a minority. At Ester Manas, inclusivity is neither a marketing slogan nor a passing trend, but a true creative philosophy.

An approach that has won over audiences far beyond their own label, as shown by recent collaborations with Ganni, the fast-rising Danish brand and Jimmy Fairly, the French eyewear brand known for its accessible fashion. These creative partnerships reaffirm the duo’s commitment to bringing more inclusivity and freedom to every aspect of the wardrobe.

From ready-to-wear to lingerie

With this first lingerie collection, Ester Manas continues to combine inclusive design with responsible production. Offered in five styles of panties, available from size S to 3XL, the pieces are made from recycled materials mesh and lycra and priced at €100. A price that reflects the attention to craftsmanship, the choice of sustainable fabrics, and a small-scale, thoughtful production approach.

The cut, currently offered in a single style, guarantees comfort. Designed to adapt to natural weight fluctuations, the underwear features elastic bands and gathered details. A now-signature element of the brand. But comfort doesn’t mean ordinary: the line embraces a bold visual identity. Think sheer panels, leopard or polka dot prints, and daring lines.…Ester Manas delivers lingerie that is both functional and sensual, designed to celebrate every single body. More than just a natural extension of their ready-to-wear, this line marks a new step in redefining beauty standards. Inclusive lingerie, free from clichés, for diverse bodies and always in motion.

In contrast to lingerie, often designed as a tool of seduction related to aesthetic constraints, Ester Manas offers a new language for underwear: political and inclusive. Without ever compromising on style, the brand asserts that comfort, functionality, and sensuality are not incompatible, provided one knows for whom clothes are being designed.

While the lingerie industry still struggles to reflect the diversity of body types, this line marks another step toward a fashion world, where everyone can finally find their place. With its first lingerie collection, Ester Manas isn’t just launching a new product, she is cementing her role as a pioneer of a freer, bolder, and radically inclusive fashion.
