Launching apple-based sneakers: yes, it’s possible and @clae has done it. The French-Californian brand unveils a new unisex and sustainable collection using Appleskin™ material. 🍎
Now what is this about ? A range that @clae is committed to producing using recycled textiles (Global Recycled Standard certified) and waste from the apple juice industry. This material, Appleskin™ (which we hadn’t heard of yet) is manufactured in the Italian MABEL factory, near Florence. And if we like the idea, which is downright responsible, it’s also because the collection revisits four iconic @clae models. Malone, Joshua, Bradley and Ellington return highlighting the durable, starting August 15, 2023.
