Who better than @heavn to perfectly represent Generation Z? Inspired by the vintage designs of its founder, Marc Jacobs, Heaven draws inspiration from the 2000s. For this special occasion, the brand collaborates with the longstanding duo: @kikokostadinov and @asics_sportstyle.
Since 2017, Anglo-Bulgarian fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov has been collaborating with the Japanese leader Asics. Together, along with Japanese brand @hystericglamour_tokyo, they showcased a Y2K aesthetic on the streets of Harajuku last June.
In parallel, Heaven by Marc Jacobs released 16 women’s pieces designed by sisters @laura_deanna_fanning, who are in charge of Kiko Kostadinov’s womenswear line.
It’s only natural that this year they envisioned a pair of Gel-Lokros to represent this tripartite collaboration. This design is inspired by both the Mary Jane and Gel-Kiril shoes. Featuring a quilted upper with overstitched stars and a plethora of elastic straps, it perfectly captures the inspirations of the different brands. 🌟
The Asics Gel-Lokros Kiko Kostadinov Heaven by Marc Jacobs is available today in Pale Aqua, Vapor Cosmos, Graphite Grey for €230.
