Nike is celebrating the fall season with two great designers: Chitose Abe for sacai and Edison Chen and Kevin Poon for CLOT. After an orange LDWaffle released on September 9th, the triple collaboration continues with the “Kiss Of Death 2” version .
Largely inspired by the 2013 CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 SP “Kiss Of Death”, the label and the swoosh brand merge with the iconic Japanese brand sacai around the LDWaffle model that will be offered three rounds. The first, released in early September, was dedicated to a vibrant orange colourway with red undertones. The second is a version where grey and navy flirt with white and a touch of green.
The upper of the hybrid silhouette is made of a seamless, transparent fused upper. The thermo-welded reinforcements highlight the 3M reflective stacked commas in the midfoot. The shoe’s design is complemented by stacked tongue elements, laces and heel logos, as well as speckled elongated midsoles and a gum outsole.
Edison Chen and Chitose Abe have also prepared a capsule collection of ready-to-wear shoes to match the pair. The unisex range includes a jacket, jogging pants in black and khaki with exposed white seams, a graphic tee and socks.
The CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle Kiss of Death 2 collaboration is available from October 9th on the SNKRS app.
