First unveiled a few months ago at the presentation of Sacai’s FW21 “Wearable Art” collection, the triple sneaker collaboration that includes Chitose Abe, Nike and artist Kaws drops this week. In addition to the ‘Team Red’ and ‘Neptune blue’ colourways, two other iterations namely the ‘Purple Dusk’ and the ‘Reed’ will be released on December 9th.
Two silhouettes available
It’s a triple collaboration that makes you dream. And for good reason. If we know the craze for the sneakers imagined by the Japanese brand Sacai in collaboration with Nike, the signature of the American artist designer Kaws, expert in painting, sculpture and toys, obviously gives an additional reason to fall in love. The first two models that have been known since the beginning of the year, namely the Nike Blazer Low color-block, have an official release date. The first one is predominantly red and orange, with blue and yellow details, and features Sacai’s signature double Swoosh. On the other hand, the second has a blue and green shape with orange and yellow accents. A double tongue is also present. The iconic Kaws signature double X is engraved on the front of the white sole. Want to cop? Check out the SNKRS app (Nike) on November 26th and the official sacai and Kawsone.com websites.
Two more colourways will arrive on December 9
Other information to remember? The equally desirable “Reed” and “Purple Dusk” models have been released on December 9th. The “Purple Dusk” features an elaborate purple leather upper with grey, yellow, sky blue and pink details. Numerous lined elements, as well as co-brandings on the tongues and immaculate midsole, refine the design by Brian Donnelly and Chitose Abe. The ‘Reed’, which features the same synthetic leather construction and suede detailing, is finished with a dominant taupe colour scheme, a duck blue and cream double swoosh and other pink and orange details.
