The 1996 Nike Air Adjust Force, a silhouette that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, will make a comeback under the watchful eye of Yoon Ahn and her label Ambush. While at Nike’s Portland headquarters, the American-Korean designer gave a sneak preview of this collaboration that should soon see the light of day.
After revisiting the Nike Dunk High many times, Ambush is about to bring back a model that basketball fans have long been hoping to see. The Nike Air Adjust Force, released in 1996, had a bold design and interchangeable FitWrap straps in different team colours. During his visit to the Nike campus in Portland, Yoon Ahn teased some of the shoe’s focus in an all-black colorway with white details such as logos.
Although few clues about the full silhouette have been revealed, the sample unveiled on the designer’s Instagram already allows us to see that the outsole will be constructed from recycled Nike Grind materials.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force is expected to arrive in the coming months at Nike and selected retailers!
