We’ve seen teasers during Fashion Week and all over social media in the last few months so we’re glad the two new Nike x Sacai Vaporwaffle colourways have finally got a release date.
After launching the black/white and blue/red/white colourways in November, Chitose Abe’s Vaporwaffle sneakers are making a comeback this month with two more colourful versions. One has touches of black and white on burgundy, green and beige. The other has shades of yellow and green contrasting with black and white details.
Like their counterparts, the sneakers have Nike Vaporfly features paired with the 1983 Pegasus. The silhouettes have double-thickness details on the tongue, Swooshes and laces. The knitted upper is finished with suede panels. There’s a technical “Sail” midsole and black outsole. The co-branding appears on the tongue’s label and insoles.
The new Nike x Sacai Vaporwaffle models should drop on December 17th on the SNKRS app and at selected retailers for £160.
