@nike and American designer Emily Bode collaborate for the first time to reissue the famous 1974 football shoe: the Astro Grabber. Her eponymous brand and Nike also pay a tribute to American sports origins and culture through an 8-piece collection.
This upper, created by Bill Bowerman just after the Waffle Trainer, aimed to improve traction on synthetic surfaces of American football fields ๐บ๐ธ. Thus, New Yorker @bodepersonal reinvents this icon in two colors: Natural Black features a premium full-grain leather upper, while Black Coconut Milk presents a mesh upper. Jewelry attached to the lacing and vintage branding on the tongue signed by Bode complete the look.
