The Iranian-born, London-based designer Paria Farzaneh has pulled it off again by teaming up with Converse to present a stunning new hiking sneaker.
Everyone knows about Paria Farzaneh and her amazing career. The designer, who celebrates her Iranian family heritage through her self-titled label, is back for round two with Converse. Her superb signature paisley prints are once more gracing the star-adorned sneaker. Which model? Converse Pro Leather X2, a sneaker that has never been reworked in a collab before.
Glimpsed at women’s London Fashion Week, the much talked-about Pro Leather X2 features a sand-coloured upper. The vamp has a contrasting white paisley print. Paria adds a new hiking-inspired twist to the model, which started out as a basketball shoe. Highlights include a leather mudguard, nubuck collar and chevron logo on the quarter panel. But it’s the utility details that really set it apart. Metal eyelets, two sets of hiking laces and a very imposing traction sole. For the perfect finishing touch, reflective details complete the look.
The Paria Farzaneh x Converse Pro Leather X2 collab drops on Friday 27 November on the Converse website.
