We thought Gallery Dept. was ready to disappear and here it is relaunched, like never before. The American brand, revitalized through the care of its founder Josué Thomas, has always put art in the spotlight and is committed to involving young talents, to sign his creations in his headquarters located in Los Angeles. This season, it is with Vans that it shall dazzle, publishing the OG Old Skool LX. Unveiled by Josué Thomas himself, the sneaker is imbued with the label’s codes – mainly with the words “ART THAT KILLS” printed on the sole. Tattooed with a newspaper pattern, this version of the Old School is as underground as it is cool. A tad punk, it promises to be a delight for any creative soul adept at the Vans empire.
